L.A. artist Susan Silton wanted to create a project about Facebook, on Facebook. Her project compares the scripted nature of the public apology to the scripted nature of Facebook. Susan has long been interested in customized speaking avatars from SitePal. Her Facebook fan page has public apologies from celebrities such as Mel Gibson and Michael Richards. They appear as SitePal characters.
